Osk Oskarsdottir is a music artist born in Reykjavík Iceland 16th of December 1959. A classicly trained on piano and fhe flute, but started young writing her own music.

Back then there were no computers, no home studios and it was extremely difficult to get a recording contract for a girl unless she was willing ro go to a certain lenght which Osk was not.

She travelled the world and met her ex-husband the British punk drummer Laurie Driver from The Adverts in Amsterdam in 1985 and they wrote a bunch of songs together and some of them appear on her album Silent Journey.

Ósk bought her own recording equipment when she had enough dough in her pocket, a poor single mother of three. She recorded in the comfort of her own home using her 8- track Adat and made her debut album in 1997.

Her last album saw the light of day in 2008 and she recorded it together with her husband and guitarist Númi Björnsson whom plays also in the punk band Kuml.

Ósk and Númi are currently working on some new stuff....
